Miss Saigon

As a thank-you for successfully completing the recent relocation project at work, I received a pair of tickets to see Miss Saigon at Her Majesty’s Theatre this weekend.

Sara was really looking forward to it but, having never liked musicals, I was less impressed with the idea.

Nonetheless we decided to make a weekend of it, so I booked us a nice room at the Radisson on Flagstaff Gardens.

Despite my reservations, the show was absolutely spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed it. =d>

Afterwards we retired to the Elephant & Wheelbarrow (Tetley’s and Boddies on draught) and then made our way to Carlton for a nice meal (Lygon St is a bit like Rusholme’s curry mile, but they’re all Italian restaurants rather than Indians). 🙂

Today we just pottered around Queen Vic market, enjoying the winter sunshine and live entertainment. b-)
